| Does anyone disagree that Sarah Palin's national career is stone cold dead? |
|
I rarely comment on her. And essentially, it's because she's politically irrelevant outside Alaska. She may be entertaining to talk about, I guess, but her national political career died in November.

She cost McCain a shot at winning. She is dumb as a rock. She was "stone cold dead" on arrival.

She still has the crowds ringing in here ear and does not realize that here support is thin and week and only among fundies that are brain dead.

i can see the fundies supporting her in the next election. i don't think we should "misunderestimate" the attraction of Palin to those folks.

| 12. yeah, she'll get the fundie vote in almost any scenario |
|
and given that, I hope she runs. Because while the fundies are mesmerized by her :wtf: most people -- independents, 'swing' voters and moderates -- are not at all impressed with her particular flavor of idiocy.

That's the team I hope we are running against in 2012.
I doubt the DU servers could keep up though.
Imagine the traffic here?

|
The fringe loved her and will continue to love her, in spite of her words, in spite of her actions. THEY believe she has been the victim of the big bad media. Remember, freepers don't base their judgments on reason; they cling on to the demogogues because they gauge talking points as more relevant than accomplishments.
Down here in GA, Sarah is still the darling child of the GOP. Whether she is actually nominated is another story...but I doubt she will disappear from the scene entirely.

| 9. I agree that outside of the 23% of right wing nuts and |
|
fundies, she has no support. America has moved on from this type of candidate. The presidency of George Bush proved once and for all that it does matter who is in the White House. America in the future, I believe, will look to intellectual and reasoned candidates. This will be the case whether it is a democrat or a republican. Sarah Palin is a novelity. She would fare that way in any comparison no matter what she did. She compares that way as a governor. It would be like comparing the talents of Brittney Spears to Bob Dylan. That is the way she registers.

Levi Johnston is one reason. He is the gift that keeps on giving.
This silly young man is giving Palin a huge PR problem. By going on Tyra Banks to spill his guts, he has elevated the Palin's white trash status to a whole new level.
These people are classless and I couldn't be more pleased.
