Most national media aren't taking them seriously (except FOX, but no one outside of the fringe right takes them seriously)
But these events were obviously designed by the GOP to take advantage of local media that is either lazy, desperate for news or owned by rightwing management.
That's the case here on the WV-KY border. For the past two days the teabaggers are getting tons of advance press and promotion from TV stations and papers that ignored the antiwar effort around here for years.

They got front page status in yesterday's paper, and then again today was ANOTHER highlight the the where, when, why.
I'm surrounded by Cons who have all been conned!

I haven't heard a damn thing, but I haven't really been watching the local news either. I imagine it's being ignored locally as no one here really cares about the GOP anymore or feels threatened by them and their minions. I honestly didn't find out about this thing until this morning when I first signed up on this site.
