The biggest con job was the extra effort it took to actually appeal the decision that certain Gitmo detainees could sue for their right of habeas corpus. Because of that, the excuse that "it will take time" to restore habeas corpus is a load of shit. The fact that he is actually fighting their right to be charged with something just makes him a fraud. Anything else he does is just tainted with the odor of war criminal and constitution abuser.

Have been looking beyond DU and there is a distinct rumbling of progressives that he will not be able to ignore for much longer.
