I feel for his friends/family who feel compelled to "believe him" despite what is emerging as an overwhelming case against him.

If it is all true, he is one "sick" cookie. I guess he's lucky this is Massachusetts (no death penalty)

People are often fooled by good looks.

I doubt he fooled everyone. Someone else always knows the dark side - usually the parents who often fool themselves.
I have a good friend with a troubled son and the first time she told me she loved him like a parent but didn't like him as a human being, I was surprised. Hubby said she was merely being honest. Few parents are that frank about their kids.
