Swiss Defago wins men's downhill gold

VANCOUVER (Reuters) - Switzerland's Didier Defago won the Olympic gold medal in the men's downhill at the Winter Games on Saturday.

Norway's Aksel Lund Svindal won the silver medal and Bode Miller of the U.S. the bronze.

I know most people here who have an opinion about it, think Bode Miller is an asshole. I'm a big fan. He's just a phenomenal skier- one of the best ever and he just became the first American to win 3 olympic medals in alpine skiing. He's on his way to redeeming himself after his disastrous performance in Turin 4 years ago.
