Take a break from everything that we talk about here that makes us worry so much.

Hold that warm blooded being for just a moment and share.

Your Significant Other, your dog, cat (fish don't really breathe so don't try it) or maybe even your bird if they are so inclined to share a moment with you.

There for a moment we thought we had it all beat. We thought that one man would be able to take a magic wand and change all the wrong that this country has been involved in and with for the last thirty years.

Didn't happen, couldn't happen. Won't happen.

But we're in a much better place than we were in two years ago.

Cheney & his daughter are only bloviating assholes that we don't have to listen to. Sara Palin is being exposed as the asshole she is. I hardly ever hear anything from KKKarl Rove.

Yes, the economy still sucks but I haven't put anything back into the market since I lost my ass and I'm seeing a positive gain in just savings. Yes, we are still at war in the Middle East and innocents are still being killed... I can't help you on that one.



Anyway, I guess I'm saying that it's tough times today. Take a moment for yourself and feel love for just a moment. Just a moment is all it takes to do wonders for your soul.

3. As long as there is life, there's hope...

I get down on Obama as much as anybody, wishing he'd be more aggressive in pursuing his goals and dreams for our country. But as you stated, look where we are versus where we were.

Things are still bad but they could have been much, much worse if Gramps & Gov. "I Quit" had won in 2008. I'm still hoping for change, and I won't give up unless the right wing nuts get the keys to the White House again. Heck, even then I might not, if I've still got fight left in me.

I just hugged my cat. Much better...
