| 1. From Howard's Lips To God's Ears |

Edited on Wed Feb-17-10 01:56 PM by ChoppinBroccoli
I ask this question right now: WHY is Howard Dean not Barack Obama's TOP adviser?
I'll tell you this. I have an unblemished record of 37 years of staunch heterosexuality, but I'm not ashamed to tell you that I love that man, Howard Dean. If the Democrats don't put him someplace where he has the ear of the top echelon within the Party, they DESERVE to lose. If I were Barack Obama, I'd make Howard Dean "my Rasputin" right now, (if you don't mind the historical reference).
I even think Pat Buchanan, of all people, made a good point about how Bush used reconciliation to ram through things he wanted even when he didn't have a 60-vote majority. And the theme that we as Democrats should take away from this entire discussion: people admire strength. If Obama doesn't get his ire up and start "snatching a few collars," the whole country will suffer for it.
So if I'm Obama right now, I've got a 2-point plan for how to get this thing back on track:
1. Hire Howard Dean.
2. Grow a pair.

| 6. Good point: "people admire strength." |
|
As Bill "Big Dog" Clinton once said, "When people are insecure, they'd rather have somebody who is strong and wrong than someone who's weak and right."

I couldn't decide. Was that wide-shot camera hung from a tire swing, or did they just hand it to a monkey to operate? It certainly was annoying.

| 9. Dean gets it. He just plain gets it. |
|
And, yeah... why there's no room for him in the admin or the party leadership... it's a mystery, indeed. :(
Thanks for posting the video. It is WELL worth watching, despite the presence of Herr Buchanan! :D
