1. They may have blocked some. They have certainly tried. But have they succeeded?

Anyone who wants to know has seen the pictures of the oiled wildlife, the oiled ocean, the oiled marshland. Anyone who wants to know has heard how this will destroy many square miles of marsh, thus destroying major protection of areas further inland from storm surges. In fact, anyone with any brains has had the opportunity to hear about BP's efforts to cover things up. In any case, BP is widely hated,not just for the gusher but for what it has, or has not, done in response.
