Whitman campaign spokeswoman Sarah Pompei issued a statement defending the Republican candidate as a "results-focused boss." She says it is not unusual to have a "verbal dispute in a high-pressure working environment."

There is no danger of emotional distress damages. I don't even think you can claim Worker's Comp for verbal insults or that sort of thing. I might be wrong about that, but I don't think you can.
Wow! That's inexcusable. Why would a person with that kind of lack of self-control and maturity run for governor. That's just asking for trouble. This is worse than even having some sort of irresponsible affair. This makes me feel a little frightened. In all my working years, I was never physically shoved by anyone in the workplace. I had other very bad experiences, but was never shoved. Was anyone else shoved by a boss in the workplace? That is practically unheard of. Shocking.
