What can we do to convince Gore to run in 08? Is Tipper the key?
Remember the movie Rocky when Adrian was in the hospital in a coma. Rocky's training was going no where. When she awoke, her first words to Rocky were, "Win. Just Win." And the rest was history?

1. There can be no Gore until there is no Hillary
I'm tempted to say there can be no Gore until the DLC candidates no longer hold a top tier position, but I am more sure of the animosity between the personalities.

2. Gore was instrumental in the creation of the DLC, but I think that he could go against it
He could run if he wanted to. I dont think that he would wait for their blessing. HE has grass roots like we have never seen, should he decide to enter. I dare to say that he could run on the green platform alone and take the cake.

3. Believe me, he didn't get the DLC's blessing to endorse Howard Dean in 2004.

4. side question: would Dean have gone farther without his "scream"
I was thinking about that. Would he have won the nom had he not gone on his rant, "first we'll go to South Carlolina and AAAAAAAGGGGHHHH"

He had the grass roots effort. I personally liked the fact that he screamed. I want a passionate democrat, not a stuffed suit.

5. I have no idea. I think the "front loaded" primary was the problem; no one
had time to catch up with the Iowa/NH winner. The "scream" film certainly didn't help, though.

6. I am starting to lose my patience...
I really want Gore to run, but if he isn't going to I wish he would just tell me (us) so I can start working for someone else. I kinda feel like I am being led on, know what I mean?

7. So what's stopping you from working for someone else? Work for your next
choice, and if Gore enters, then switch. It'll likely be at least the end of the summer before Gore makes a decision.

8. Hopefully nothing - he is doing great from where he is and IMO he can not win
