I first knew about them and every single one of them was very white. I just felt that if any non-white person joined and posted their picture, they wouldn't be there for very long. One of the reasons narrow minded people cluster together is because they are afraid of diversity and don't want to be around other people who aren't like them. FR is a prime example of this. I believe this is the reason large cities are for the most part liberal even in redder parts of the country, because to live in a large city, if you are white, you have to live, go to school and work with all different kinds of people and prejudiced people can't do that.

On its face it is polite, inocuous language, but it stings just the same. So, these racists in freeperville pretty much are the mouth-breather types who use their utter ignorance to spew their racial animus.

The subtle type, on the other hand, create as much damage by cutting off any discussion of race by saying "it is divisive". Those quiet ones who want to "pretend that race doesn't exist" use their fear to sweep any talk of racism under the rug.

Freepers are definitely not "the quiet, subtle type" by any stretch of the imagination.
