For the last week, the framing has been ...

"Obama is evil for letting the rich keep that tax cut, and Democrats should be angry at him for it!!"

Now, if the tax cuts expire ... the framing is going to change to ...

"Obama is evil because he let the tax cuts for the middle class expire. This was a major campaign promise, no tax increase for those under $250,000, and now effectively, that promise has been broken by Obama and the tax and spend Democrats."

The plight of the unemployed will be highlighted daily. And folks on DU will claim that Obama did nothing to help them.

Count on it.
