Hello FM Faithful!

Nathen Maxwell's gear was stolen!

We need your help! Our own Nathen Maxwell was on a road trip when his car was broken into in Kingman, Arizona and some of his most prized musical equipment was stolen. We're hoping that you, our fans, can help us out by posting the information on your MySpace pages and just keeping an eye out to see if any of this gear turns up. Here is what was taken:

National Resophonic bass guitar - This is a one of a kind left handed bass that is not in production anymore. The photo of Nathen on this post shows the bass.

National bass case that also contained a Highlander IP1X Inline pre-amp and a Korg Toneworks PX3B personal effects processor.

26. This has apparently been going on in Kingman for at least three years.

In the summer of 2003, the desk clerk at a hotel told me to remove everything from my truck because there was a gang breaking into vehicles and stealing the contents. I told him I would park right in front of my room and wasn't really worried (I didn't feel like unloading everything for a one night stay). He warned me again, and I took his advice.

I can't believe the Kingman police still have no idea who is doing this after at least three years.

I hope Nathan gets his gear back. I HATE THIEVES....

I went to a client's xmas party (the Friday before xmas) and someone broke out my window and stole my cd's. While I understand that my cd's isn't the same thing as a musical instrument, but it pissed me off just the same. Most of the cd's can not be replaced. On top of that I had to find someone to replace the window and most people had given their workers the whole weekend off. Luckily I got my window replaced but will never know exactly what cd's I lost due to A**holes.

If you have ground troops around Kingman, you might check out pawn shops as well.

I have a feeling the instrument went to Vegas, but I'm not pshyic, just a feeling. Could be anywhere by now. I hope it is recovered. Thanks for the kick and sorry about your window and CD's. I hate violating theives! When friends and faves are violated, I am violated! :grr:
