2. my daughter would love that!
she got started on sewing last year, and colors like that are just her thing.

how difficult is it?

nice work!

3. No pattern (except in my head lol) --
but it was a bit of a pain in the arse. Basically I had a piece of plain muslin, laid the ribbons over it, sewed them in place, then stitched down some of them (both for stability and to make it look cool lol). I made a lining and added that and the zipper. I used water soluble stabilizer to hold everything in place for stitching (this was the annoying part, desolving and rinsing out the stabilizer and drying the whole thing out).

4. Here's a pattern location I saved to make one
It's located at the Craftster web site. If she can't see the pictures, she can register for free and participate or just view and learn projects posted by other members. Seems to me there are a lot of young women who participate there.

8. Quick note:
the ribbons would be an extra few steps - they'd have to be laid out over your outside fabric and stitched on.

:D

5. This is very cute!
With these colors I'd never lose track of it in my bag. I'm forever digging for my little purse since it's brown and gets lost in there.
