it gives me the same feel as Tim Burton's films.
Especially the way the balancer's rear leg bends, almost like a goat. Makes me think of e e cummings 'goat footed baloon man'

early american folk art, medieval art, surrealism, any kind of art that distorts the body. I like dolls, too.
