Hello from a newbie and question about pattern making.

Hello crafty group. I'm new to this part of DU. Very pleased to find it.

Last night I missed a session at a sewing workshop on making a garment pattern.
It had something to do with a body form. We were instructed to bring duct tape, paper tape and a garbage bag or old teeshirt. Does anyone have a clue about the process? I was so disappointed to have missed. it.

I'm excited to read about everyone's crafting!

I've been wanting a dress form for awhile now, but they're so freaking expensive - looks like I might have found a solution.
