I know that you found a home for your fabric, but in the future, should you have leftovers, you might want to consider donating them to a local school art teacher. They are generally underfunded and often buy craft supplies out of their own pocket. I know they also often appreciate the donation of older magazines, especially ones with great images (smithsonian magazine, national geographic, art magazines, etc.)
It's just a thought.
