Premonition - Strange Accident

I wanted to, and did ride out to Palm Springs thru' the mountains and back Sunday, the 4th of July (came back yesterday).
I had a strong premonition about something going wrong. A strong sense of 'do not go'.
But I realized, perhaps, it was about something other than me.
When I got on the 110 Harbor Freeway north at Sepulveda, I immediately saw the CHP coming and saw 2 boots, much like mine in the #2 lane. To the right were 3 cars with a police motorcycle heading into them from the wrong way.
A good 1/4 of a mile north, just south of Carson off ramp, was a motorcycle down in the #3 lane.
No rider, a truck pulled to the side of the road.
I rode to Palm Springs, thru' Hemet & Mountain Center, and back yesterday with no incident. Just a nice ride.
But I still can't figure out how the accident happened, who hit who or what, where the rider was (the CHP waa just arriving), thus no ambulance took him away. Some type of tragic mystery.
