some old foreign coins that I've had for years. The lot is part of a bunch of coins I bought at a yard sale. All the European coins that could have been used prior to the Euro are gone...and that was fun- but it is now time to find out of any of these are silver. Be darned if I can find out. Have searched on line using a bunch of keywords and I can find the coins-they have no collectible value-but nothing tells me what they are made of. Silver?? Time to find out, I'm putting together a bunch of worthless stuff to scrap(no nibs, if I ever find any, I'll sent them in a particular direction.)
Anyone in the same position? Did you find any reference guides that would help?
Thanks
Spring is here, the outdoor markets will start soon. I'm feeling the urge!
PS, The US 1964 and prior US quarters, dimes, half and dollars are silver are very worn and in a pile to be scrapped. They are not worthy of being collected.
