is that good or bad to have that many watchers?

1. I can't figure ebay out anymore and I was there at the beginning.

Sometimes you get a ton of watchers and none of them ever bid or 1 sneaks in and steals the item at the end. Other times you get no bids until the last few minutes and it goes through the roof. It's very frustrating. If you haven't got a reserve on something, you're never sure if you should pack it in and remove the item before the auction ends to avoid giving it away.

2. Too early to worry about no bids

It's hard to say how well you will ultimately do, as Vinca says. But especially with a 10 day auction, bids may come late in the game.

8. Smart buyers never bid early unless they're confident that no one else will bid.

If you have 6 watchers on an item which has been listed for only 1 day then there is a very good chance that you will get multiple bids on the item.

yes the book sold at a *decent* but not AWESOME price

I sent it to the nice man in Tennessee and he asked if I had a 1st edition or knew of one.

I don't and didn't

I left the $$$ in PayPal and spent it on fancy gourmet coffee, new hardware for the kitchen cabinets and art stuff for the remodel


and life goes on.....
