3. I think many, many people saw the same thing.

Biden had a 60% approval rating and 75% of people thought he was qualified to be President.

He got absolutely no credit for everything he did to help Obama win.

Ugh. Even Olbermann made some snide remark about Biden's gaffes tonite.

I hope it doesn't hurt Joe inside.
I hope he knows how much he's loved.

But then again, this is no different than how he was treated in the primaries.

I completely missed it.

Another thing that amazes me is how so many DUers pick up on media sound bites & repeat them endlessly. I expect that from my friends, who are generally not as informed as I am, but I have a higher standard for DUers, which, I've found, is inappropriate, many times!

These few paragraphs really exemplify the problem with the media:

The Globe was pretty clear: Because of his propensity for gaffes, Democrats were "worried" about Biden and had "mixed emotions" about his candidacy. Except the Globe never quoted anybody in the article who expressed any mixed emotions about Biden or professed to be worried about his campaign performance.

Instead, every Democratic voter quoted in the Globe article expressed faith in Biden and admiration for him. When asked about his gaffe reputation (courtesy of the press), they responded this way:

(They proceed to provide three quotes that are quite complimentary about Biden's speaking.)

This is exactly like when the boosh administration claim "some say." WHO??? Who says???
