What were those snarky comments Matthews made about Biden tonite?

I had it on, but wasn't paying attention. All I heard him ask his guests - Pat Robertson and someone else, if Biden will do something tonite to take away from the President's speech, and Pat said he hoped so.

Anyone catch it? Wtf was that all about????

I had the TV on, but didn't watch all of it. That was a crappy thing to say.

2. I don't know, but he did make a nice comment

about Joe too, when Pres. Obama was making his speech, how it was nice to see him behind the President, as a regular guy, or something to that effect. I like CM, but he seems to hand out compliments but and then say something later to negate them quite often.

3. And he also pays glowing compliments

to the strangest people. Tom Delay is one of his favorites for some reason. There are times when I really appreciate Matthews, but there others when he says the nuttiest things. He must drive his wife crazy.

4. He drives me crazy, but I watch him whenever I can.

I wonder if he knows how often he interrupts his guests.

And why he still has Tom Delay on his show is beyond me.

5. I can't stand when he interrupts guests

He gets so wrapped up in the sound of his own voice, he forgets he has guests on his show. Very self absorbed.
