Obama, Peru's president to meet on June 1
WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama and Peruvian President Alan Garcia will meet at the White House next month.
The White House says the South American nation is an important partner with the U.S. and that Obama looks forward to discussing a range of issues with Garcia.
The meeting is set for June 1.
