| Rassmussen 2012 Poll: Obama 42% - Paul 41% |
|
Edited on Wed Apr-14-10 12:53 PM by WeDidIt
Of course, Scotty Rasmussen only has one honest poll every four years, the one right before the presidential election. It's how he fakes credibility. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections2/election_2012/election_2012_barack_obama_42_ron_paul_41

Paul freaks don't take em down, even going on two years now. It gets worse in the rural areas.

Ron Paul is too fringe and on top of that, his name id isn't good enough to get this close.

Talk about a serious ass-kicking... it will never happen though. The RNC can't stand Ron Paul and will do everything they can to make him a 2% candidate.

|
Edited on Wed Apr-14-10 07:10 PM by Teaser
it is heavily weighted with Teabaggers.
This is not a representative sample of any normal American electorate.
Consider this Rasmussen's admission that he lacks all credibility.

|
The demographics of his Constituency comprise a thin slice of the chart's total pie, while Obama's represents a far larger and likely winning percentage.
And Barack Obama is one of those presidents who really likes pie. Good luck to Ron Paul getting anywhere near it.

1) It'll drive the GOP insane by lending even more credibility to Paul and his cultists, who are already sowing grief within Teabagistan by repeatedly winning all the "conservative" strawpolls.
2) The sensationalism of the media coverage will drown out any talk of a realistic GOP candidate. The media will spend weeks talking about a race between Obama and a mythical candidate while realistic candidates like Newt and Mitt will get lost in the Paulmentum frenzy, which would be a welcome departure from the free, wall-to-wall promotion the media has been giving them lately.
3) Democrats and serious political watchers will have conclusive proof that Rasmussen is to polling as Drudge is to news reporting.
It works on all fronts.

Tie Paul to the teabaggers and you've got a massive win. Who deserves to be the champ of teh crazy? Sarah or Ron? See how well they poll against Barack! Get comments from Rep. Bachmann!
