| News appears to be underplaying Goldman Fraud Charges - But didn't Tiger Woods & Massa! |
|
Edited on Fri Apr-16-10 01:48 PM by FrenchieCat
Watching CNN and MSNBC, seems like Volcano and anything other than Goldman Sachs is getting more airplay.
When it was Tiger Woods story, that was 24/7 for months. When it was Massa, that was 24/7 for at least 3 days.
Somehow, it appears that this story is being subdued by the media.
Why is that?
Weren't Teabaggers created especially to rail against Banks and bankers?
So why is the media being so gentle on what is happening right now, if it points that maybe some may get their just desserts after all?
I find the coverage of this big news which brought the Markets down at one point as much as 140+ points very Interesting.

...he seemed to think it was a big deal - was going to have them on later to follow up as they learned more.

Yeah, the M$M is pretty selective when it comes to reporting what's actually important as opposed to the hysteria inducing and shock value diversions and distractions that they just LOVE to report; it keeps them in big money and job security, and to hell with actual journalism and news.
Those teabaggers and that screeching Palin woman are what bring in rating$, not real news, especially not real news about any real reform going on, God fobid! Tiger Woods is just one more lovely distraction......

Like duh. Seems like the Bail outs was the government bailing out the banks. Seems like everything on wall street these days is directly related to politics. What do these fools think brought the teabaggers to overexposure? Were they complaining about politics and walls street converging? HA!

|
And won't result in a major change. Even with the rare chance Goldman Sachs goes down hard, there will be another Wall Street group to replace it. The problem is the Wall Street culture, companies like Goldman merely are a product of said culture.
