It is extra wear and tear on my remote, but it's much easier on my ears. She has the kind of voice that kept silent picture stars from transitioning to the talkies.

The combination of that voice with the smarmy affectations and the ignorant blather makes for a uniquely toxic presentation.

Palin's "more than a thousand" when a more accurate description of Obama's crowd would be "tens of thousands" or even "nearly 100 thousand."
