I'm hunting around for how Fox News tried to make the Katrina disaster look like a positive event for Bush and came up with this amusing tidbit from toe-sucking ass monkey Dick Morris and how he was predicting how Bush's performance with Katrina was going to really help out his legacy:

Morris said, "(Bush) can get all the money he wants out of Congress 'cause of this disaster, the people will be solidly behind him, the media will cover it like crazy and he's gonna look like Santa Claus."

Morris continued, "The president has such mastery of all of the tools of disaster relief. It's a military effort, Congress appropriates whatever you want, he controls the executive branch, and this is something where Bush can just go ahead and do his thing and all the Democrats can do is sigh."

Perhaps when the Republicans say that the BP-Deepwater Oil Disaster is Obama's "Katrina", they think he's doing a great job? Remember Hannity with his "Why didn't anyone use the buses?"... yunno, the ones that didn't have drivers...

I don't care that Dick Morris takes absurd positions on issues. I do care that Dick Morris was once a part of Bill Clinton's administration, and he's still introduced as such.

It shows that Clinton was willing to partner with really, truly awful people in order to gain any political advantage, and this mindset and these kinds of associations are what doomed Hillary's candidacy in 2008.
