As for what I would do IMMEDIATELY, I would arrest these four people for essentially attacking the United States territory and charge them with attacking this country. They knew they didn't have the ability to control damage from the type of spill that has occurred and went ahead anyway. They are also more interested in syphoning the oil from the disaster instead of just closing down the well.

They have all lied in the same way that a terrorist who attacked this country would to cover their ass.

In terms of actually arresting them, I would arrest them and put them on a plane that lands at Grand Isle, Louisiana and take them to the beach. I would make them all walk out into the oil spill up to their necks and then have them make a statement regarding their guilt.

Then officers and local fishermen would net them and throw them into a helicopter and have them under house arrest until they cease and desist until they agree to pay a billion dollars a day to stop the oil spill leak. They would still be treated as foreign terrorists who attacked our country.

Yes, it's a dream... but it sure would send a strong message to any oil/gas/nuclear interests who think they can get away with being careless and destroy our resources.

Arrest them NOW.

One thing people may not see with a precedent being set here. Imagine a nuclear power plant having an accident where they are leaking radioactive rods into the environment. Do we wait for them to clean up the mess or do we arrest them for attacking the American people?

Not only will they not be arrested, we'll probably create a separate contract with them to consult with the US on cleanup efforts. They'll all get rich out of the deal.
