Today, I drive my Toytoa prius with Obama bump-stick. So I saw a huge Hummer with Obama support bump-stick. In my mind, "What? Who a guy who drive Hummer who Obama Support?" because He support offshore drill oil? huh?

| 1. A bit OT.... Have you driven your prius in much snow? |
|
I commute up the CO front range three days a week, about 60 miles each way and I do get in considerable snow... I've heard mixed things about the Prius, though I understand that snow tires would be a necessity. Given how many big dump wet snow storms CO has had in recent years, I'd be particularly interested in whether or not it gets snowbanked easily.

| 3. A Prius can't do snow any better than a light front wheel drive Corolla. |
|
Most folks around here who need to drive in snow and mud, and who are environmentally sensitive, drive Subarus more than anything.
They offer a nice range of models.
Of course there are some reasonable domestic units. I looked at Ford Escape Hybrids before selecting my Prius.

| 6. Oversimplified. False Dichotomy. Hummer drivers can support Obama whether he favors |
|
offshore drilling or not.

| 10. Works the other way around too. |
|
Obama supporters can drive a Hummer because it was a gift, a work requirement, etc.

| 9. I conduct an unscientific survey about this... |

.... all the time when I'm driving. Here in Red America, I still see cars with McCain/Palin stickers ... they, almost without fail, are on SUVs.
The Obama stickers are on compact cars or NON SUV "family" cars.
My favorite was a VW Bus that was COVERED in them.
