| 4. FWIW, that's my answer too. |

And I've always thought that Afghanistan was the front we needed to be on, not Iraq. I'm just happy that he's defined a timeline and objectives for success.

I have always been against an unjustified war, but like most of America I did not oppose the one in Afghanistan. My problem was that after having done a study on Johnson and Vietnam, I saw Afghanistan as just an excuse (a training ground) for bush to use to attack Iraq. And that is what he did. Iraq was the unjustified war.

| 6. Other. Mostly a pacifist... |
|
...who acknowledges the right to self-defense, and perhaps even the defense of others.
One who sees all war as failure.

If there is any other way.
We didn't need to start Afghanistan at all, but in Oct. 2001, only a tiny minority was against it.
I'm against it for "helping." If Saddam Hussein is a country's President, they are stuck with him until they through him out themselves.

| 8. I don't oppose all wars. I oppose DUMB wars. |
|
But unlike the guy I stole that quote from, I actually mean it.
Because everything after August 1945 has been DUMB wars.

| 9. I am an anti-imperialist hawk |
|
I am a hawk - against empires, like the United States. I hope countries like Cuba, Venezuela, Nepal, and workers movements around the world push any American, Israeli or European empire out of their countries, by whatever means necessary.
