From your link:
Charges:
* Prevented the public release of government records and has fought legislation to make government more transparent * Weakened the authority of the state ethics board * Refused to accept federal stimulus funds to expand unemployment insurance and to fund other important programs * Rewarded campaign donors with government jobs and contracts * Has been fined for ethics violations
But NONE of this is ever reported in the media. You'd think he's a superhero if you'd listen to them. :eyes:

...isn't a piece of work (pretty much all on that list are)...but...
From the website:
"Note: The list of governors is unranked, and appears in alphabetical order below. Press coverage of CREW's report can be found here."
He could be the worst or number 10... they all pretty much blow. It is interesting to note that list is dominated by Rs though... interesting but not surprising.

| 7. The deck is a little stacked there. |
|
They are including things like refusing federal stimulus money and weakening oversight and ethics boards. Those are actions Republicans are proud of and consider virtuous, so of course the list will have more Republicans (not that they should be, just that those are campaign issues for the Repubs).
If they included issues like "showed compassion for the homeless and baby kitties" as bad, the Democrats would have more on the negative side. :)

Georgia was closing in on being part of a modern civilization and then the Republicans took over.
Now every flavor of teabagger runs Georgia.

So he's tied for worst with ten others.
Seriously, though, some of the issues they list seem like normal political expectations in Louisiana. Between the Long brothers and Edwin Edwards, Jindal's not even on the short list there.
