| I did some tabling for Russ Feingold today |
|
It was a couple hours in Madison at the Farmers Market.
Huge crowd. Lots of fans.
No Teabaggers came up to the table.
A couple asshats gave me the finger.
A bunch of people signed up to volunteer for the Get Out To Vote efforts coming up.
I'll be there next week and beyond up to November.

He is one of my favorite senators. :)
I just volunteered to work for Sestak. The person on the phone said someone would be "in touch". I'm starting to get fired up!

People here know what is going on in regards to the lazy MSM and Fixed Noise nonsense that has been infecting our society in one way or another.
The main thing about being out in the street doing grassroots efforts is that people are a lot more sane than the mainstream media will ever message.
I'm talking not only about hardcore Democrats but moderates as well, which I would guess are a majority of the people I encountered.

It's you and other hardcore DUers that make the feet get on the good foot to do the grassroots thang.

| 5. What does tabling include? |
|
Voter registration? Candidate lit? Volunteer signup? What else?
Am thinking of a few candidates who could benefit from this, just wondering how you're doing it and where to give them ideas.

I was part of a group that had merch from the campaign. There is a voter registration person who has been deputized to make sure a voter's form is legit and deliver the form to the voter registration department.
There is also some lit, buttons and bumper stickers as well as info on how to contact the office for more merch, volunteering info and so on.
Mostly, it just takes people showing up and obviously having the approved spot to be there.

noticed Russ has been underrated in recent polls (not that I trust them) --Keep up the work, definitely worth it!
I'll be busy down here trying to change gears on the Texas governorship from R to D and start moving forward
"You want to go forward, what do you do? You put it in 'D.' When you go backward, what do you do? You put it in 'R.'"
