Don't you feel that Whedon (although I'm not a fan of his normally) was foreshadowing the possible future with his space western? There are two major languages in the world today English and Chinese. And thew way English became popular is how we see the rise of China. If you dominate the business world and international economic competition then you'll take over---China is now doing that. Don't you think in probably 50 years or so...or even less than that there will be an almost convergence of the two languages that will end up being probably 1 language in 100 years?
