These two have entirely different motivations and responsibilities.

Assange's motive is transparency. I'm not sure what Obama's motive is. Don't get me wrong: I think Obama, relative to other presidents, has been superb with transparency. But, it's Assange who's leading the ways, and his is a revolution that every liberal should embrace enthusiastically, in my opinion.

I agree!
While I do question Assange's rather "reckless" document dumps, there is no greater advocate for transparancy...anywhere...perhaps any time. And he will go down in history as such.

I enjoy the political gossip on weakileaks but I have yet to learn anything I didn't already know. I would be more impressed with less spewing of info dumps and some real thought
