| Anyone notice how Obama said not extending tax cuts PERMANENTLY is a line in the sand? |
|
So, as long he keeps kicking them down the road for the next President, does that mean he's keeping his promise?

But keep repeating that line..... because advancing your/our own complete destruction via this piece of shit of a prediction must make you feel wise, powerful and large. Enjoy it while you can.

Is there really such a thing as making them permanent anyway? If they were made "permanent" couldn't any future President just revise them?

How in the world can tax cuts be made "permanent" anyway- short of, as you suggested, indefinitely extending them, or somehow managing writing them into the constitution? Any future Congress at any point in the future could techinically refuse to extend (or rescind) them, right?
