The kind of anger posters are expressing is the kind I haven't seen them express at any Democrat or even at some Republicans in many years. Not since '05 have I encountered posts from people angry enough to write actual letters to elected Democrats about their decisions. I have also never encountered posts here describing people so upset that they are unsubscribing from mailing lists, asking a Democrat not to run for office again or mailing back bumper stickers(!).

So I think the anger is significant. Significant enough that if he is the nominee, something I think is highly unlikely, he simply won't have the public support to justify any alleged victory (because, yes, I do think the Dems would have to steal this election to "win" it for him, something that will not be possible without the public perception that he's popular enough to have pulled it off legitimately.)

Every time we vote for the so-called lesser, we still wind up getting royally screwed. I guess, it's how they do it--I mean you know the repugs going to screw you right off the bat, but the democrat who's SUPPOSED to be representing mainstreet, you just have to pray it's not another wolf in sheep's clothing.

I'm tired with the "rah rah our team", because it's not about some damn team, it's about those who actually represent the people, not the corporations, not the obscenely wealthy, but the majority of the people.

What I see in this tax bill, is breaks for the wealthy with taxes and inheritance and a hit at social security. Taking money from the general fund, seems to me, to allow SS to be included in the budget and deficit, where it was not before. It also allows the repukes to defund it and privatize it. And, if you think I want my money being handled by the likes of Goldman Suks, think again. Why should I put my trust in a bunch of greedy, corrupt deregulating enronizing sociopaths, why should any of us.

What really bothers me about the bill and how MSM is portraying it-"if you don't pass this what will happen to the regular people?" When most of the gravy goes to the wealthy. No passing a tax bill that has less taxes on 250,000 dollars or less, no separating the unemployment package (it damn shouldn't have been in the compromise). You know why it is in this obscene compromise, so it will pass the rest of the most smelly pieces of shite. So, now, it's all or nothing, negotiated by our supposed democratic leader-I mean "new democratic" leader.

I know what damaging policies Clinton passed (and has harmed us) and it seems Obama is following the same agenda. Yes, I'd love to actually vote for some one rather than against the other candidate. But, it seems that MSM and corporate money have a lot of influence to sway the populace on who becomes candidates tweedle dee and tweedle dum.

I will not vote for one damn republican, especially any trickle on reaganite republican. So when the primaries come, I will vote for the best democratic leader for the people, especially one who will stand for labor and mainstreet.
