A vice president of Goldman Sachs is going around, saying that his bank and other banks have chosen NYC mayor, Michael Bloomberg, as their candidate of choice. In preparation for 2012, they're donating money now in order to draft Bloomberg, allowing him to deny that he's running at this time.

Bloomberg can repeatedly tell the press he isn't a candidate while stealth donations are being made now.
