The Onion has been reading DU, I think:

Barack Obama, the first black president, proved to millions this year that he is either trying his best to lead the nation during the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, or he is the modern-day incarnation of Adolph Hitler. One of the two.

In 2010, Obama made a number of political compromises while still trying to pursue many of the reforms laid out during his 2008 campaign. Also, he was a totalitarian monster comparable to the perpetrator of one of the worst genocides in history.

7. The Third Reich: The Fall

I saw this show on the History Channel the other day called "The Third Reich: The Fall." It had some really unbelievable video clips in it from WWII. At the end it was showing videos that were taken by American soldiers when they found the concentration camps. Absolutely unbelievable. I was sitting there saying "Why? How could people be so evil?" Of course I know the history of WWII and the Holocaust, but I never saw video before that was so disturbing. It just really hit me how evil those people were, the Nazis. Unspeakable evil, indescribable evil, no words for that kind of evil.

Anyway, I think it is totally inappropriate to compare Obama to anything like that. As much as I detest Republicans, I wouldn't even compare them to that. Maybe people are not aware just how evil the Nazis were? Watch that program, I assure you, you wouldn't think of making that comparison.
