International Support For The Libyan War Is Collapsing

Support for Operation Odyssey Dawn is withering.

China, which abstained from voting for the UN resolution to bomb Libya, is now calling for an immediate cease-fire, according to the AP.

Yesterday, it emerged that Russia, which also abstained from voting, resisted pressure from Vladimir Putin to veto the resolution. Anyway, Russia has also called for an end to the airstrikes.

Italy has threatened to withdraw authorization for the use of its air bases.

Majority of the nations mentioned didn't even fuckin' vote. If they wanted to make a stand, they should have voted against it. They were like---we're ignoring it and maybe it will go away. Italy doesn't count---bu they saw the Libya thing as a possible threat, so they were---"I don't really want, but...ugh...okay."

The key players which are 9 of the 15 on the UNSC (excluding Italy)---are still in it and internationally it does have the support of the people.

wait for it...they have interests which will be hurt by it.

One huge example is North Korea. The only reason North Korea exists is because of Russia and China (though mostly China).

China has their heads up their assess on human rights. This is a country that re-patriots North Koreans damn well knowing that doing so is a death sentence. China is also a slave market for North Korean women who try to defect over land between North Korea and China often being SOLD by brokers.

Anyone that thinks China has good intentions needs a lobotomy.
