they had DNA from family members which at a minimum would say the person killed was a member of the
family. Besides the point that if it wasn't Osama the real and still alive Osama would absolutely be making sure the world knew he wasn't dead. That's my talking point to anybody that questions whether it was really Osama that was killed. Show me a real live Osama that is the simple way to answer the question. If you can't then shut up (the 'you' is not directed at the poster but to the teaparty/birthers).

there is no way it would have been announced in the way it was if Obama wasn't literally 'dead certain'.

I subsequently saw some articles about how the DNA testing was done. I'd say I was 'convinced' but I wasn't unconvinced before, just curious. Turns out OBL's sister(?) had cancer and was treated at an American hospital and some dna samples were obtained by the FBI under subpoena or something like that. Plus allegedly other samples from various sources. Combine that with various other biometrics and it's pretty convincing. And now that photos and video have been released (which I haven't seen yet) hopefully the doubts will be completely put to rest (except for those still thinking the moon landing was faked, of course).
