| My roomie comes home every day from work and turns on faux. Not today. |
|
He watched a horror flick. When I asked him where the newz was, he said "it's Osama all the time". When I pointed out what a coup 'our' President accomplished, dead silence.
He's always razzing me about how he loves watching Glen Beck, and 'Glen Beck for President'. Yep, today is NOT a good day for rethugs.

so that it has nothing to do with Obama. Lucky for you he doesn't realize that.

You LIVE with someone who watches Fox all of the time?

|
their viewpoints up my nose. I don't to them either; they have no idea how - ahem - passionate I am about politics.

| 21. I actually did that when my brother came to visit |
|
I didn't impose MSNBC evenings or Democracy Now on him, but don't get the same in return. I parental-blocked Faux and let his tiny little mind steam and stew.
We finally got him calmed down with some survivalist outdoor show.

It's generally not in my nature to kick a man when he's down but their meltdown in the last 24 hours has been quite fun to watch. :nopity: :hurts:

| 23. On big news days, the CNN ratings spike and FNC ratings dip prove ... |
|
... that a lot of people are perfectly aware of the fact that they watch FNC for entertainment, not news. They must figure they are getting a little news with the entertainment, but when things get really interested, they flee to actual news organizations.
If you have ever watched CNN-International (not the US version) then you know that CNN does have an actual news organization and only limit us most days to infotainment because that is where the ratings apparently are on average days.
