I think you nailed it. HE had to know how sad his kids were, why put them out there?

if he didn;t know, then I would have to say: "Santorum, we have a communication problem. " His wife is one thing, but those kids look very unhappy. HE really could have come out alone or with his wife, and no one would have been questioing that. Instead, that is a sad bunch of kids.

In the End, this was a judgement call by Rick Santorum, and Well, Every picture tells a story, don't it?
