considering you ain't got shit to spread but your standard negativity, why bother? I mean, really.....we wouldn't miss you, if you chose to be brave and courageous and just post on threads where you can constructively comment without looking like an ol' bitter petty-annie. :eyes:

| 6. He is tackling Immigration at a time when the Republicans have the House. |
|
and so, the only way that immigration can be achieved is IF Republicans and Democrats agree on reform.
Using what Murdoch said as an example of how, even those who hate Obama and just about all of his policies, still find room for agreement on this particular issue, means that even if Republicans hate everything Obama supports, this shouldn't be one of those issues.
He also stressed that he needs those who support reform to get a movement going on this.... cause h can't do all of this shit all on his own. And that's true on just about all policies that we want enacted.... The President needs us to show up in the street, at town halls, etc... He needs the voice of the people, or else the microphones of the GOP ran media will make sure that we don't get shit.
Of course, the Republican will oppose strongly what Obama proposes on immigration reform, meaning that only changing the House from "R" to "D", will there be any hope for immigration. Hopefully Voters will get that.

This bridge building is not an easy task though, I do feel for him, especially knowing how they despise him.

| 18. That is NOT praise. It sounds like you think it's praise just because |
|
hearing Obama say his NAME gets you mad. That must've clouded your view of you seeing it as "praise."

| 17. I thought it a good political speech on policy. |
|
I thought it was great when he listed his admin's efforts on immigration issues because "the press is not reporting on it." That's for damn sure. I need to be convinced on the part about penalties undocumented immigrants will be forced to pay (back taxes, fines, etc.) and mandating learning to speech English (is that constitutional ?) when their life is wrought with poverty. I think it's too harsh. But he's advocating for the Dream Act eloquently.
