People will show up to see a president whether they support him or not. If the OP is meant as a comparison then you would have to look at the numbers who showed up when he was a Senator for his book signings.

Because Obama when he was senator didn't have the fortune of being on a presidential ticket. That gives you far more publicity than just being a named senator - even if he was a rising star back in 2006.

21. Depends: If he's not President it would be larger than if he was....But oddly enough i think Palin's

would probably get more people ONLY because let's face it...she is a train wreck and the media and people love train wrecks. Obama is down to earth and no redneck gossip around him. So in the end i would predict Palin would have a larger book signing than Obama (even if he were not president).
