About eight-in-ten Democrats (82%) say they want Obama to be reelected; liberal Democrats (91%) are more likely to take this view than are conservative and moderate Democrats (76%). By comparison, 87% of Republicans say they prefer a GOP candidate to win, including 91% of conservative Republicans.

1. Not surprising. Of course, the Fox Channel has had this meme

running 24/7 for at least 2 months might contribute
some.

To be fair, even some of Obama's strongest supporters
in the Media have said more than once--Obama just does
not get how he must take advantage of the the Mike and
grab it at every chance using it to his advantage.

In a Television age, this is critical. The Image you
put out there almost daily.

3. What's surprising to me

is that despite all the noise, 79 percent of Democrats saw him as a strong leader in January (now 74 percent). And while "able to get things done" has dropped to 67 percent among Democrats, it was at 74 percent in January, even higher in May.

These declines are likely the effects of the debt ceiling debate.
