under the republican policies from 2001 to 2008.
No amount or turning the page to look at those statistics is going to make it change. President Obama saved the private sector.
It had been demolished..he even saved the car companies and the union jobs that went with it.
During the 8 years of George Bush..private job sector creation was near zero
http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2011/0...jobs-bush/"As the Wall Street Journal noted in the last month of Bush’s term, the former president had the “worst track record for job creation since the government began keeping records.” And job creation under Bush was anemic long before the recession began. Bush’s supply-side economics “fostered the weakest jobs and income growth in more than six decades,”
Republicans took 2/3 of the governorships in 2010 and proceeded to attack public sector jobs to give themselves something to run on. They did this with the help of a tea party backed by the same oligarchs who had ruined private sector jobs.
The result has been a depressed job sector that they can try and run on.
On Thursday President Obama, turn your vision to the Public Sector and job growth there. Use charts if you need to.. what ever it takes.. Go for the gold.
No matter what you put up, the republicans are going to stand in your way.
There is only one cure to save the public sector.. we need to oust the republicans.
Give the American people something to fight them with. We are more than ready
