Poll: GOP more enthused than Dems

(CNN) - What a difference three years makes. A new poll released Thursday reveals Democrats seem to be suffering from a presidential election malaise.

According to the new Gallup poll, Democrats are split on how excited they are about voting in 2012. Forty-five percent of Democrats and independents who lean Democratic say they are more enthusiastic about voting than usual, and 44 percent are less enthusiastic.

But in 2008, almost eight in 10 said they were more enthusiastic about voting. The change represents a stark decline in excitement from the months preceding the election of President Barack Obama to those in the midst of his re-election campaign.

In a reversal of fortunes, almost six in 10 Republicans –58 percent– say they're more enthusiastic than usual about voting and 30 percent are less enthusiastic.

The latest results are from a USA Today/Gallup poll conducted Sept. 15-18, nearly 14 months before the 2012 election is to be held. This is the earliest Gallup has asked Americans to rate their enthusiasm about voting in advance of a presidential election. All of the measures leading up to the 2000, 2004, and 2008 elections were conducted in the same calendar year, starting in January. Nevertheless, the robust level of Republican enthusiasm today suggests that Democrats' subdued enthusiasm is meaningful, rather than merely a reflection of the early timing.

So why is Gallup polling so early? Republicans are in the middle of a primary and Democrats are likely not pumped up yet.

If they are so happy and so enthusiastic about their candidates, then:

1. Why do they have 10+ candidates running for office? (The 8 on stage, plus the others not invited to participate?)

and...

2. Why aren't they yet happy with Romney and Perry, and are begging Chris Christie to get in the race?

The Corporate Media is a slick one, isn't it? They want to demoralize the Democratic Party and/or divide it.

It is up to us not to fall for this trickery.

Republicans are united on one thing their hatred for Obama(and yes it Is hated among the antiGay,
antiJeweish,Antimuslim,antianynon cristin religion,antiBlack,Antihispanic,antiwomen cwoad)while
Democrats have beccome a bit disillusioned with all the bipartisan compromise obama has been doing.
This Is starting to change.

Obama continues to get majority of democrats support for renomination while no republican gets
majority support.In Fox poll romney has 23 percent.And he Is suspossly the strongest candiate(and
despite what some say now there was a time when Mccain was called a strong candiate and people
were worried about Obama) yet he Is not picking up any support.Joke Hermain Caine has 18 percent
just behind the falling BushIII Rick Perry.Republicans keep talking about get Chris Christie Into
race.He would lose NJ against Obama.His popularty Is tanking there.

running against Incumbent doesn't always work.Democrats In 2004 were laregly against Bush and not
for Kerry.That didn't work out so well.And Obama doesn't have to lie like Bush did.Republicans
have plenty for attack ads.

My concern for 2012 Is more Democrats staying home.A good attack against republicans can get some of
Independents who voted for Obama back.But If Democrats who voted In 2008 don't vote It does little good.

If we stand by and let them shut-down post offices, disenfranchise young voters and minorities, and reduce the number of polling places they just might pull it off like in 2000.

Don't forget people, if the election were held next week, Obama would defeat any candidate the GOP has running or any candidate that isn't running for that matter.

He's still in the lead and is still the favorite to win re election!!!
