| Mittens. It's Mittens. Ignore all the rest, it's Mittens. |
|
Been saying that since McCain's 'comeback' in 2008.
And my VP bet is still on Rubio.
Regardless, it's Mittens.

| 4. Nah. Obama will win. But Rubio will win in 2016. |
|
Then... We have a problem.
This election will look more like a regular year. It will come down to Florida, Ohio and less so, Pennsylvania.

| 9. Rubio's got a skeleton in his closet. I can feel it. He will self-destruct before 2016. |

The Tea party is going to have a hard time swallowing Mittster.

| 6. If Independents vote Republican we better hope it's Mitt and.. |
|
not the one of the other fruit-cakes.
I know that Democrats will vote for Obama because even most who are not happy with him will still vote the party line. It's the Independents that worry me.

I just don't see the Christian fundamentalists voting Mormon. It will dog him the entire campaign. Not that I'm advocating religious discrimination - but let's face facts - he believes in some crazy shit.

| 10. Who will they vote for then? |
|
 My question is if Romney wins the nomination.
"I just don't see the Christian fundamentalists voting Mormon." Do you mean in the repuke primary or in the GE?

They won't - they'll stay home and pray.

He's very easy to paint as a flip-flopper and not decisive about anything. Our current President isn't exactly the king of decisiveness either, but that he's not even close to Romney's league. Plus that's hardly been the line of attack that the GOP has used against him.
