Democrats, by and large, work with whoever is POTUS as we don't believe in shutting down and/or destroying the government. As we have learned quite painfully over the past 2-3 years, Republicans are. And not only that but they have also managed to get President Obama blamed for the dysfunction by the right (and by *independents*) for "not reaching across the aisle" enough and by the left for not getting enough done progressively enough. :eyes:

running from one side of the political spectrum "...I'm more liberal than Ted Kennedy" to the other. It'll be fun to hear the tea-baggers remind him that he was once further to the left than most any "republican" friendly response.
What an empty shell of a human.

assuming he's the nominee, of course (which I think he will be). The ultimate question should be: Which Mitt would we be getting for POTUS?

he has been told to start slowly transitioning towards the general electorate. He'll still have to pander towards the center-right and middle.... in order to get the election close enough to steal, after all.
People are forgetting that he doesn't have to be able to bring the Tea baggers to euphoria over his candidacy. MSM is trying to make you think that is the case. He just has to get the nomination.

The WH better gear up for a campaign against this guy, who will *not* be a pushover in the general election. All others in the primary are window dressing. That includes Perry and Cain.

I think that some, if not most, of what's going on now is actually preordained in order to frame Romney correctly and garner sympathy for him from Republicans and so-called moderates- the Mormon cult controversy being the most obvious.
It's a bit frustrating, because I would ostensibly imagine that his bizarre personality (or lackthereof) and the fact that he is a total shell of a human being would be easily picked apart by the WH.
However, I don't have full faith that they completely know what they're doing, or that Obama is quite ruthless enough to rip this guy apart. And more importantly, this country also gave a coke-addled frat boy enough votes to steal an election just ten years ago. The WH had better get ready.

imo he'll give the prez a run for the money so Dem turnout will really count - and, with Republican efforts to suppress the vote, we'll need a great game plan.

The thugs will run him in the end and the teabagger nazis will hold their noses and vote for him.
Didn't Mitt say corporations are people too??:puke:Yup the banksters own his soul and he will be the nominee.
The Cain/Perry/Bachmann three ring circus is only there to shut up the teabaggers till its time to spring Mitt on them closer to the election.
