1. It's the same old dog and pony show

US jobs shipped overseas so that corporations can increase profits by selling goods in the US market using using cheap labor. The problem is that people can't buy those cheap goods if they don't have jobs.

That's why aggregate demand in the US economy is extremely weak and will stay weak. Weak aggregate demand is why companies aren't hiring even though they are sitting on record profits. Why should they hire people to make more stuff that nobody will buy? The economy sucks for this reason and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.
